Pyong's comments:  I think you know the famous secondhand book store in Japan called "BOOK OFF". As you can easily guess, MODE OFF is a clothing store brand of them although the shop rarely sell MODE brand items. Similar to BOOK OFF, the biggest advantage of MODE OFF is the price. You can find items from JPY 100. If you have enough time and power to browse for a nice one, MODE OFF should be the first option.
Kitano station is very close to Takaosanguchi station, around 10min by train. There is Michelin 3 stars Mt. Takao in Takaosanguchi.
If you have time, I recommend you to visit both, the shop and the mountain since they are around one hour away from the city center, Shinjuku or Shibuya.
