Pyong's comments:  Who believe that the shop only shows pictures of vegetables instead of prices. DonDonDown on Wednesday has one of the most unique pricing system. Instead of JPY, the shop put pictures of vegetables on tags. Every Wednesday, the price goes down and finally reach JPY 100. Some too nice items have regular price tags. It's up to shops. You can enjoy very unique shopping experience here. If you found something nice but thought a bit too expensive, you could wait till next Wednesday. Mitaka is famous for having GHIBLI MUSEUM, The museum of Japanese famous movie company. If you are a fan of GHIBLI you can take a direct buss from Mitaka station.
